Tide Pool

Another peice I managed to finsh in time for the show. Thanks to Liz's mom who attatched the bindings for me so I wouldn't have to stitch the entire thing by hand. I really need to get a sewing machine...

Salmon Run

I finished this peice by the skin of my teeth yesterday for the Crab Festival Art Show. The show opens tonight with an artists reception. This one has been in the works for awhile. Just needed that last minute push to get it finished.

Surprise from Down Under

This little beauty showed up in the mail yesterday from Austrailia. It's an opal embedded in pollished stone on an adjustable black leather thong. Gorgeous! Thanks for the swap Tania... I love it!!!!

Weekend in a Whirl

Here's a peek at what I was spinning up this weekend. I was playing with some of the fibers I scored at Maryland Sheep and Wool. Yummy stuff! Lapis(the one on the left) is a blend of wool, alpaca and angelina spun with copper kid mohair coils, snippets of novelty yarns and is plied with Fireworks from Trendsetter Yarns- 104 yds. Agate was spun from a hand-dyed mohair/wool blend spun with yarn end cuts from Curious Creek Fibers and is plied with a copper color metallic thread-99 yds. I'll post more pic's of these two yarns soon.

Knit or Die!

T-shirts and totes are in! Shirt sizes are S-XL and are $16 each. The only color I am sold out of is blue in XL. As for the totes- what you see is what you get. I only have 5 left. These are $26. Shipping charges will be added, but I try to keep these minimal and limited to actual cost. I'm finally set up with paypal so feel free to contact me via email to order.

Also, for those of you who have expressed intrest in getting your hands on a copy of KnitKnit I have issues #5 and #6 on the way- so contact me if you want me to set any aside and I'll email you an invoice as soon as they arrive. Issue #5 is $8 and #6 is $7. Unfortunately all other back issues (1-4) are sold out. No word yet on when the next issue is due to be released.
