How did you ply in the mohair locks? Beautiful stuff!
First I make sure I'm using a sturdy thread for plying- in this case, viscose. As I ply, I tuck a lock in between the yarn and the thread, ply it in, then ply over it a couple times to secure it.
Here's a peek at what I've got whirling on my wheel. It's going to get even louder in color when I start plying in the mohair locks...
